Karina and Armando Rodriguez live and work with their family on the stunning farmland located in Honomalino Acres on the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano in the famed Kona region on the Big Island of Hawai'i. When we visited their farm, they welcomed us with Aloha spirit and showed us their commitment to sustainability and exceptional quality in every aspect of their operation. We knew we had found something truly special.
We prize the unique, mouth watering flavor profile of this coffee, which the Rodriguez family created by combining the famed SL34 and Red Bourbon varieties with the Typica variety most commonly associated with Kona coffee. After hand picking the ripe coffee cherries, they meticulously process the coffee and send it directly to our roastery on Maui.
